What happens?
Customer payment: Rs. 1,200
Your product cost: Rs. 800
Gross profit: Rs. 400
Tax Deductions (4% of profit):
- 2% Income Tax: Rs. 8
- 2% Sales Tax: Rs. 8
Total Deductions: Rs. 16
Net profit after taxes: Rs. 384
The final settlement can be different if applicable shipping, taxes, refunds, returns, or other charges apply.
Your product may be a customized product. For example, you upload a T-shirt with your own design.
PrintyWorld cannot normally sell that customized product to another customer if your customer refuses the order.
Therefore, the reseller must pay the applicable production/product cost in advance. This protects PrintyWorld against the production cost of customized products.
The COD system works like this:
Uploads product → Enables COD → Customer places COD order → Reseller pays PrintyWorld product cost in advance
Produces customized product → Ships product
Receives product → Pays COD amount
Receives COD payment → Calculates reseller settlement → Pays the reseller's eligible amount within 7 days after the applicable COD collection/settlement conditions are completed

A customer cannot place that product using COD. The customer must use the available advance/online payment method. The product is then processed according to the applicable PrintyWorld payment process.
COD is not automatically enabled for every product in your reseller account. You decide whether COD should be available for each eligible product.

This means customers can use COD only for products where you have enabled it, subject to PrintyWorld's overall COD availability rules.

After the customer successfully receives the COD order and the COD payment is collected, the order enters the applicable settlement process.
The reseller's eligible amount is paid within 7 days after the applicable successful COD collection and settlement conditions are completed.
The reseller can see the settlement status from the dashboard.

Your eligible reseller settlement is processed according to the reseller settlement policy, with the target of within 7 days after successful COD collection and completion of applicable settlement conditions.
You can upload your own products/designs.
You can choose whether COD is enabled for your eligible product.
If COD is enabled, the customer can pay when the product is delivered.
For customized products, the reseller must pay the applicable product/production cost in advance.
PrintyWorld produces and ships the product after the required reseller payment is completed.
The customer pays the selling price through COD.
PrintyWorld collects the COD amount.
The reseller's eligible amount is settled according to the settlement policy.
The target settlement period is within 7 days after applicable successful COD collection and settlement conditions.
The final reseller amount may be affected by applicable shipping charges, taxes (4% total: 2% income tax + 2% sales tax on profit), returns, refunds, or other adjustments.
When COD is enabled and you make a profit, the following tax deductions apply:
If your profit is Rs. 400:
- 2% Income Tax: Rs. 8
- 2% Sales Tax: Rs. 8
- Total Deductions: Rs. 16

The reseller must: Pay the applicable product/production cost in advance → PrintyWorld produces the customized product → Customer pays COD → PrintyWorld collects payment → Reseller settlement is processed.
